On February 20, 2018, a 56-year-old Chicago resident was walking across Green Bay Road in Winnetka, IL when she was struck by a driver. The driver contended that the plaintiff was walking in the dark while it was raining and against the walk light.
Plaintiff was a banker who sustained a closed head injury, facial fractures, and fractures to the left hand. As a result of the injuries sustained, the plaintiff lost sight in her right eye and hearing in her right ear.
