A $1 million settlement was obtained on behalf of an 80-year-old male, where there was a delay in the diagnosis of his lung cancer. In August 2021, the plaintiff was at his primary care physician’s office, who ordered a CT scan, which showed a lung nodule. Plaintiff was never told to get a repeat CT scan. In May of 2023, a CT scan was performed because of hoarseness, which revealed lung cancer. The plaintiff has undergone chemotherapy and radiation and is currently cancer-free. Bradley Z. Schulman represented the plaintiff.
