$2 Million for the Death of a 50-year-old Woman with Breast Cancer

In July, 2016, the decedent, age 50, was undergoing chemotherapy for Stage IIA Invasive Ductal Carcinoma of the left breast at a confidential medical practice. The decedent contacted the medical practice complaining of severe tailbone pain. Despite these complaints, the medical practice did not hospitalize her or have her present at the office. The decedent died a few days later of sepsis allegedly caused by an infection in her tailbone.

Daniel T. Madigan and Bradley Z. Schulman represented the family.
